According to the published information on the methodology of the study, the overall quality of the law firm was evaluated first, regardless of whether the company is large or boutique.

In particular, law firms were evaluated in terms of transparency and usefulness to society, as well as the quality of their services. "We believe that our readers, especially those who are in business, will find these factors most useful when choosing a law firm," the organizers mentioned that some leading law firms refused to provide certain information, and therefore they did not get in the top ranking.

Recall that the overall rating of Kyiv Post assesses firms in five main categories: transparency and responsibility, accessibility, internationality, social balance and overall potential. Since the idea of ​​ranking is maximum objectivity, the main part of the methodology is based on mathematical formulas. As noted in the editorial, the publishing team conducted extensive research to develop an objective, fair methodology for establishing a reliable rating that the public and law firms will trust, since it is impossible to “acquire” a position in this rating.
