In Kiev, with the assistance of the Skliarenko, Sydorenko & Partners Attorneys at Law, an anniversary forum on criminal law and procedure is being held - the 10th Kyiv Criminal Law Forum.

Associate partner of Attorneys at Law Andriy Trigub acted as a moderator of the second session of the event, dedicated to the issues of conducting certain procedural actions.

For discussion, the experts proposed the problems of initiating investigative and procedural actions by the defense, errors of lawyers when submitting documents to investigating judges, delimitation of jurisdiction, the role of legal experts in proceedings, aspects of international cooperation.

“For defenders in criminal proceedings, it is important not only to study the nuances of accompanying certain procedural actions, but also to understand the position of judges and our procedural opponents in these matters,” A. Judge of the Goloseevsky District Court of Kiev Natalya Dmytruk and Prosecutor of the Department of the Kiev City Prosecutor's Office Oleksandr Zhila took part in the session as experts.
