The procedure for registering legal entities has been changed

From now on, information on the establishment or cancellation of the requirements for notarization of the authenticity of the participant's signature will be entered into the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations.

The relevant provisions of the Law of 05.12.2019 No. 340-IX "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Counteracting Raiding" entered into force today, July 15

The document, in particular, amended the Law "On Limited and Additional Liability Companies", according to which a company participant was given the opportunity to establish the requirement for notarization of the authenticity of his own signature when making decisions on the company's activities or the requirement for notarization of a transaction, the subject of which is a share a participant in the authorized capital of the company.

Accordingly, the Law "On State Registration of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Formations" has also undergone changes. In this regard, the register must include

- information about such a participant (last name, first name, patronymic, date of birth, country of citizenship, place of  the residence, taxpayer registration number, passport series and number or name, country of residence, location and identification code of the legal entity) and

- information on the requirement of notarization of the authenticity of the signature or notarization of the transaction.

In addition, the list of applicants who have been granted the right to submit documents for state registration has been expanded.
