The conditions of compensation for the service "municipal nanny" have been changed

The procedure for reimbursing the cost of childcare for a child under three years of age "municipal nanny" has undergone changes. Officials took into account the gaps identified during the implementation of this pilot project.

The corresponding changes to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated January 30, 2019 No. 68 were made at the last meeting on September 30, according to the Government Portal.

It is noted that compensation for the "municipal nanny" service will be provided on condition:

- employment of each of the parents or guardians of the child. This rule does not apply to those recipients who are caring for special children (a child with a disability, a child with serious illnesses, a child who has received a serious injury, requiring an organ transplant, palliative care who has not been established as a disability), as well as recipients who had three or more children at the same time

or

- if one or both of the parents or guardians do not work and are a person with a disability group I or II.

In terms of size, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced a rule that compensation cannot be more than the cost of the "municipal nanny" care paid by the parents. In the case of caring for a child with a disability, a fixed amount of compensation is established - two living wages for children under the age of six (today it is 3718 UAH).

Also set certain limits for the "municipal nannies" themselves. Thus, a nanny-Individual Entrepreneur can simultaneously look after no more than three children, a legal entity - up to 10 children.

Changes to the Procedure, among other things, have adjusted the requirements for the preparation of documents confirming payment for the "municipal nanny" service.

It is reported that today 34.6 thousand families receive compensation under the project. In 2020, 268.8 million hryvnias were provided for this budget program.
