Each land plot in Ukraine, construction, apartment and ownership will have a unique identifier, which will become the key for data exchange.

The Government undertook to create the National System of Registers and Real Estate Cadastres, which should protect citizens and businesses from fraud when registering property rights.

The corresponding concept was agreed upon during a government meeting with the participation of Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Roman Leshchenko, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Aleksiy Chernyshev.

It is planned that the national system of real estate registers and cadastres should include:

- State register of rights to real estate;

- State Land Cadastre;

- Register of buildings and structures (to be created as part of the state electronic system in the field of construction);

- Unified address register (it is planned to create);

- Register of administrative-territorial structure (updated).

The officials promise that the services will be provided through a "single window". For example, when registering ownership, you no longer have to receive extracts or inquiries. All necessary information from the registers will be displayed automatically.

The system will also interact with other state registers, in particular, with the Unified State Demographic Register and the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals - Entrepreneurs and Public Groups.
