Business will be obliged to have an official e-mail for correspondence with the courts

All legal entities and sole proprietors will have to submit information about their official e-mail address to the state registrar. They will be included in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individuals - Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations.

The introduction of official e-mails was provided by the draft Law No. 3860-d "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning the Use of Electronic Addresses", which the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy finalized and submitted a submission for consideration.

Together with the official e-mail, which will function in the Unified Judicial Information and Telecommunication System, EDRPOU data will be used in courts in the implementation of economic, civil and administrative proceedings to send copies of decisions, rulings, subpoenas and other documents in electronic form to participants in the trial.

Documents, letters and messages sent to the official e-mail will be considered such that they are sent officially and do not require additional documentary confirmation of their direction.

The authors of the legislative initiative are convinced that the introduction of an official e-mail will facilitate quick and effective communication, first of all, between the courts and the participants in the trial, and in the future can be used for official correspondence with other bodies and organizations.

According to the provisions of the project, entrepreneurs will have to submit information about their e-mail within six months from the date of entry into force of the law.
